Private tool input
Files, pasted text, passwords, invoice and receipt drafts, and redaction work are processed in your browser. Talzo does not intentionally upload this private tool input to its server. Files you download are saved only where you choose on your device.
Local browser storage
Talzo uses local browser storage for essential preferences such as light or dark mode. Invoice and receipt drafts may also be stored on the current device. This information is not automatically sent to us. You can remove it through your browser’s site-data controls.
Contact messages
When you submit the Contact form, we receive the name, email address, subject, and message you provide. We may also record an IP address and a limited user-agent string for security, spam prevention, and troubleshooting. Contact records are used to review and answer requests and are retained only as reasonably needed for those purposes.
Advertising and Google services
When Google AdSense is enabled, Google and its advertising partners may place or read cookies, use web beacons, process IP addresses, or use other identifiers to deliver, limit, personalize where permitted, and measure ads. Third parties may place and read cookies on your browser or use web beacons and IP addresses as a result of ad serving. Talzo does not send your private tool files or pasted tool input to Google for advertising.
Consent and advertising choices
Where law requires consent for advertising cookies, local storage, or personalized advertising, a consent message will be shown before those technologies are used. Users in the EEA, United Kingdom, and Switzerland will be served through a Google-certified consent management platform when ads are enabled. You can also manage ad personalization through Google’s advertising controls.
Analytics, hosting, and security logs
Talzo is designed to avoid unnecessary personal data. If privacy-conscious usage analytics are enabled, raw IP addresses are not used as analytics identifiers. Hosting and security providers may still process request data such as timestamps, requested URLs, IP addresses, and browser information as needed to deliver and protect the service.
Sharing and disclosure
We do not sell private tool input. Information may be handled by service providers that operate hosting, security, communications, analytics, consent, or advertising services on our behalf, subject to their roles and applicable terms. We may disclose information when required by law or necessary to protect users, the service, or legal rights.
Your choices and requests
You can block or delete cookies and local storage using browser settings, although some preferences may reset. You may contact us to ask about a message you submitted or request correction or deletion where applicable. We may need enough information to verify and locate the request.
Children and policy updates
Talzo is a general-audience productivity service and is not directed to children under 13. We may update this policy when our services or legal obligations change. Material changes will be reflected on this page with a revised date.
